You shouldn't have to fix a problem if the device is it is still within the warranty period, and you have tried all that a user can do without opening the device to look further. The OP obviously accepted my answer given that it is the Chosen Solution as they are the only ones besides perhaps this website's admin who can do this. I certainly can't do it for my own answer.
